The Pamper Pedicure Room

The beauty industry is constantly evolving — and so are we at The Pamper Room. For us, it’s not just about offering a service; it’s about staying committed to the highest standards in foot and nail care. We follow the latest professional techniques, tools, and trends to ensure our clients receive the best, safest, and most effective treatments available.

Because of that dedication, our pedicures are performed using an advanced professional method. In our booking system, you’ll find it listed simply as Pedicure. This method allows us to work with precision, maintain strict hygiene, and deliver long-lasting results.

This approach helps us give every client smoother heels, a cleaner finish, and healthier-looking feet — all while keeping the experience comfortable and relaxing. If you’ve never tried it before, here’s everything you need to know about what makes this treatment different and why our clients absolutely love it.

What Is a Dry Pedicure?

A dry pedicure is an advanced, water-free treatment that focuses on precision and hygiene. Using professional podo disks and drill bits, calluses and dry skin are gently but effectively removed without damaging healthy tissue. This method is non-aggressive, which makes the results longer lasting. We use sterile tools and fresh disposable abrasives for every client to ensure maximum safety which is our top priority.

Why We Don’t Use Water

Many people are used to traditional pedicures with warm foot baths, but this treatment works better without water — and here’s why:

  • More hygienic

No water means no risk of bacteria from bowls or pipes. Everything is fully sanitized and safe.

  • Better results

Water softens the skin only temporarily and can hide problem areas. Working on dry skin shows exactly where care is needed, allowing the podo disk to smooth calluses more precisely without over-exfoliating or thinning the skin.

  • Longer-lasting smoothness

Because we treat the skin in its natural state, the results last much longer compared to wet pedicures.

  • Perfect for sensitive feet

With controlled speed and pressure, the podo disk doesn’t burn or scratch the skin, making the treatment gentle and comfortable.

How We Do It at The Pamper Room

At The Pamper Room, your safety and comfort are always our top priority. For this reason, we do not accept clients with infections or untreated foot conditions, and before every pedicure, clients are required to fill out a short consultation form to ensure everything is healthy and ready for treatment.

We take hygiene seriously, and every step of our cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing process is designed to keep you safe. Read all about our hygiene routine here.

Once you arrive, we begin with an examination of your feet to identify the areas that need the most attention. We then perform the pedicure using our dry podo disk method, always using a fresh disposable abrasive sticker for each client to ensure maximum cleanliness.

Depending on your foot condition and skin type, we choose different abrasive grits to make sure the treatment feels comfortable and gentle. Cuticle care is performed using sterilized drill bits, and all metal tools are properly sterilized as well. We also use disposable files and buffers for every client, so everything that touches your skin is fresh and safe.

Finally, we complete your pedicure with a warm towel and a nourishing moisturizer, leaving your feet smooth, refreshed, and beautifully cared for.

For extra indulgence, add an exfoliating foot scrub when booking your pedicure. This small step takes just 5–10 minutes extra, but your feet will be grateful. We use a sugar scrub for the final touch to melt away dullness, smooth rough areas, and give your feet that silky, spa-fresh feeling. The gentle massage helps stimulate circulation and enhances product absorption, leaving your skin deeply nourished and refreshed.

What About the Color?

You can choose to leave your toenails natural, or have them painted with regular polish or gel polish.

two nail polishes

We use CND Vinylux, a long-lasting regular polish that dries super fast and stays on the nails super long — especially on toenails. Although it becomes touch-dry in about 10 minutes, we recommend waiting at least 40 minutes before wearing closed shoes. For this reason, it’s best to bring your own flip-flops if you’re planning to get regular polish.

We also recommend removing regular polish between pedicures. Yes, Vinylux can last nearly forever on toes, but like any regular polish, it can stain the natural nail if left on too long, especially darker colors. To keep your nails healthy-looking, simply remove the polish after 2–3 weeks using a gentle polish remover.

Gel Polish Pedicure

Gel polish pedicure is the most popular choice among our clients because it requires no drying time and lasts beautifully until your next appointment. However, there are a few important things to keep in mind when booking a gel pedicure:

  • We do NOT apply BIAB on toenails

BIAB is a builder product designed to add structure and support nail growth — perfect for fingernails, but not ideal for toes. Toenails need to stay flexible, especially during winter when we wear closed shoes. A product that is too thick or too rigid can prevent the nail from bending naturally, which may lead to nail trauma. That’s why we apply only thin layers of gel polish in your chosen color. If you have a tinted BIAB base on your hands and want the colors to match, we can always find a gel polish shade that is similar enough.

  • Keep your toenails short

For the same reason — to avoid nail trauma — we recommend keeping toenails short when wearing gel polish. Even a thin layer slightly reduces natural flexibility. This is especially important for people who run or hike, as there is additional pressure on the nails. You can easily file them down (don’t cut them) after two weeks - they will still look great.

  • Don’t wait too long between appointments

Gel polish can last 3–4 weeks, and after that it should be replaced or removed. We know life gets busy, but it’s important not to leave gel polish on your toes for too long. Even if it still looks good, after four weeks it can start lifting, which may damage the natural nail or trap dirt and moisture — increasing the risk of infection. If you can’t come in for an appointment and feel confident removing it at home, you can soak it off with acetone — just be gentle to avoid damaging the nail. Or simply book a gel polish removal appointment; it takes no more than 20 minutes.

Home Care Between Appointments

To keep your feet looking and feeling their best between treatments, a little home care goes a long way.

  • Moisturize your feet regularly

Consistency is key, especially if your skin tends to get dry. If your heels get very dry, gently file the skin before you shower- its more effective this way, before your skin absorbs water

  • Your toenails and cuticles also need care

A small drop of cuticle oil keeps them healthy and moisturized.

  • If you struggle with ingrown nails

Avoid cutting them too short or rounding the corners too much.
